Fatal Los Angeles car crash death of Marlene Saravia-Bonilla – Obituary

Marlene Saravia-Bonilla, 40, was killed after being struck by a vehicle in the parking lot of a Panorama City shopping center on Friday morning. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed her identity on Monday.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Saravia-Bonilla was hit at approximately 4:55 a.m. as a vehicle entered The Plant Shopping Center from Van Nuys Boulevard. The driver did not stop and continued traveling eastbound through the shopping center. Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced her dead.

Authorities are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact the LAPD Valley Traffic Division or Crime Stoppers to aid in the investigation.
