Fatal RM of La Broquerie snowmobile crash death of Casey Pauls – Obituary

Casey Pauls, a 41-year-old man from the RM of La Broquerie, died following a snowmobile accident that occurred on Boxing Day while he was on private property in the rural municipality.

Steinbach RCMP reported that officers were dispatched just before noon to a residence on Carriere Drive West after receiving a report of a serious snowmobile incident. When emergency responders arrived, Pauls was found with fatal injuries resulting from the crash.

Pauls is being remembered by loved ones as a dedicated partner and a caring father to his infant son. In the days following his death, friends and family organized an online fundraiser that has raised more than $40,000 to help support his partner and young child during this difficult time.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the snowmobile crash remains ongoing.
