Fatal Palm Springs, California car crash death of Dell Morgan – Obituary

Dell Morgan, a 92-year-old resident of Palm Springs, lost her life following a traffic collision that occurred Sunday afternoon near the Palm Springs Airport. The crash took place at the intersection of South El Cielo Road and Kirk Douglas Way.

According to authorities, the collision happened around 3:30 p.m. on December 28. Investigators said Morgan was driving southbound and attempting to make a left turn when her vehicle was struck by a northbound Mazda.

Police officers and firefighters responded to the scene and found Morgan seriously injured. She was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment but later died from her injuries.

The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office subsequently identified the victim as Dell Morgan of Palm Springs. The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
