James Lee Blondell dies in fatal Lane County, Oregon car crash

Fatal Lane County, Oregon car crash death of James Lee Blondell – Obituary

James Lee Blondell, 76, of Reedsport, Oregon, was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Lorane Highway in Lane County on the evening of December 29.

Lane County Sheriff’s deputies, along with fire personnel, responded around 8:30 p.m. to the scene near Sutherlin Lane, south of Eugene. Officials reported that Blondell was driving a 2012 Jeep Wrangler when the vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons and collided with a tree.

Blondell was the sole occupant of the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.
