Fatal Baudette house fire death of Nelda Fay Anderson – Obituary

Nelda Fay Anderson, 91, was found dead following a house fire on December 19 in Baudette, Minnesota.

The Lake of the Woods County Sheriff’s Office reported that emergency crews responded around 3:38 a.m. to a fire at 320 2nd Avenue SE. Anderson’s body was discovered inside the residence after the flames were extinguished.

Authorities are treating the fire as accidental, and the incident remains under investigation. A full autopsy is pending. Responders from the sheriff’s office, Baudette Fire/Rescue Department, and Lake of the Woods Ambulance Service were on the scene.
