Fatal Umatilla County, Oregon car crash death of Noah J. Lindsey – Obituary

Oregon State Police have confirmed that Noah J. Lindsey, a 25-year-old resident of Pendleton, lost his life after being struck by a commercial truck while trying to cross Interstate 84 near Pendleton. The incident occurred on the morning of December 22 near milepost 207.

According to investigators, Lindsey was walking across the eastbound lanes of the interstate around 7:50 a.m. when he was hit by a Kenworth tractor-trailer traveling east. The truck was driven by 55-year-old Ben Travis Johnson of Kennewick.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, where Lindsey was pronounced dead. Johnson was not reported to have suffered any injuries as a result of the crash.

Traffic along Interstate 84 was disrupted for roughly four hours while authorities conducted their on-site investigation and cleared the roadway.
