Fatal Fox Point, Delaware car crash death of Serina White – Obituary

Serina White, a 40-year-old woman from Dallas, lost her life after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident in Fox Point late on the night of December 28. Authorities say the collision occurred just outside Wilmington city limits.

According to Delaware State Police, troopers were dispatched around 9:15 p.m. to East Lea Boulevard near Colony Boulevard following reports that a pedestrian had been hit. Investigators determined that a vehicle traveling along East Lea Boulevard struck White while she was in the roadway and then fled without stopping.

White was transported to a nearby hospital, where she later died from her injuries.

During the investigation, police were able to locate and identify the suspected vehicle as a maroon 2011 Nissan Altima. Officials have not disclosed whether the driver has been identified or contacted as the investigation continues.
