Ann Marsh, 62, tragically lost her life after being shot by her husband, James Marsh, during a domestic altercation at their Union Street home in Leominster, MA. The incident occurred on Friday when a 911 call prompted police to respond to the residence. Upon arrival, officers found James Marsh sitting on a couch holding a gun, with his wife lying motionless beneath a blanket.

As they entered the home, officers heard a faint moan and discovered Ann Marsh’s lifeless body. Following the shooting, James Marsh barricaded himself inside the house and surrendered to police after several hours.

Ann Marsh was pronounced dead at the scene, and James Marsh, aged 64, faces charges including assault with a dangerous weapon and assault and battery with serious bodily injury. The motive for the shooting is believed to have stemmed from a domestic dispute, and the case remains under investigation. James Marsh’s next court appearance is scheduled for Friday, where additional charges may be filed.
