Fatal Honolulu pedestrian accident death of Brandon Edwards – Obituary

The tragic incident occurred early Sunday morning around 5 a.m. on North Nimitz Highway near the Lagoon Drive intersection in the Airport area. Brandon Edwards, 35, of Honolulu, was lying in the roadway when a southbound pickup truck struck him.

Edwards was quickly transported to the hospital by Honolulu Emergency Medical Services but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed that the cause of death was accidental.

The 64-year-old driver of the pickup truck was unharmed and remained at the scene. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
