Jasmine D. Agan and Thomas Agan die in fatal Cherokee County, Alabama, crash

Fatal Cherokee County, Alabama, crash death of Jasmine D. Agan and Thomas Agan – Obituary

The tragic accident took place Thursday at 5:45 p.m. on Alabama Highway 9, roughly two miles north of Centre. The victims, 26-year-old Jasmine Agan from Cedar Bluff and 25-year-old Thomas Agan from Temple, Georgia, were involved in a head-on collision with a Ford Explorer driven by a 16-year-old from Cedar Bluff.

Senior Trooper Gregory Corble confirmed that neither of the victims was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash and both were declared dead at the scene. The young driver of the Explorer was airlifted to an undisclosed hospital for treatment.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
