Fatal Dayton shooting death of Jeffrey Williams – Obituary

Jeffrey Williams, 31, was fatally shot near a Dayton bar in the early hours of Thursday, January 1. The Montgomery County Coroner’s Office confirmed his identity on Friday.

Around 3 a.m., police responded to reports of a shooting on Fairport Avenue. Williams was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities believe the incident occurred within the City of Dayton, near a bar on North Gettysburg Avenue.
