A tragic snowmobile accident in the Town of Worth claimed the life of 55-year-old Joseph R. DiDomenico on New Year’s Day. The incident occurred around 1 p.m. when DiDomenico, from Liverpool, NY, had stopped along a snowmobile trail near Waite Road and dismounted his vehicle. A 16-year-old male snowmobiler from Liverpool was unable to stop in time and struck DiDomenico as he came over a hill. DiDomenico was transported to Samaritan Medical Center but was later pronounced dead. Authorities believe the crash was accidental, with no signs of impairment from the other snowmobile operator.
