Family and friends shared tributes on social media and through a GoFundMe page, describing him as loving, funny, and devoted to his newborn daughter. Donations collected through the GoFundMe and a meal train are intended to support his child.

Mustang Public Schools confirmed the teen’s death Thursday, offering condolences to his family, classmates, and friends. Counselors will be available for students when classes resume to help them cope with the tragedy.
