Felix Aguilar Torres, 77, was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Harlingen, Texas, on December 30, 2025. Harlingen police say officers were called to the intersection of East Grimes and Ann streets, where Aguilar was found lying in the roadway. He was transported to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries.

Authorities have charged 66-year-old Manuel Lopez in connection with the crash. Lopez was arraigned Friday on a charge of collision involving injury or death, with bond set at $100,000. Police located the suspect vehicle the day before the arraignment and identified Lopez as the owner.
