Fatal Pitt County shooting deaths of Tazavian Webb and Boris Graham – Obituary

Two men were injured in a New Year’s Day shooting in Pitt County, North Carolina, that left one dead and another hospitalized.

Shortly after 4:15 a.m. on Thursday, deputies responded to a shooting at a residence on NC 121, near Farmville. At the scene, they found 23-year-old Tazavian Webb and 42-year-old Boris Graham with gunshot wounds. Webb was pronounced dead at the location, while Boris Graham was transported to ECU Health Medical Center and later released with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities indicated that preliminary findings suggest the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute and that alcohol may have played a role. A 19-year-old, Jaboris Graham, also present at the home, was not harmed. All three individuals are related and resided in the same household.

The Pitt County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
