Fatal Greenwood, South Carolina shooting death of Juventino Gonzalez Altamirano – Obituary

Juventino Gonzalez Altamirano, 32, was killed early Sunday in a shooting in Greenwood, South Carolina, authorities confirmed.

Greenwood County officials responded just after 3 a.m. to a residence on Hall Avenue regarding a reported homicide. Upon arrival, they found Altamirano unresponsive in the street with a gunshot wound to his chest.

The Greenwood Police Department stated that a suspect has been taken into custody. Investigators are continuing to collect information and are executing multiple search warrants as part of the ongoing investigation.
