Samuel Anthony Galvan dies in fatal Pecos County, Texas car crash

Fatal Pecos County, Texas car crash death of Samuel Anthony Galvan – Obituary

Samuel Anthony Galvan, 35, of Fort Stockton, Texas, was killed early Friday morning in a single-vehicle rollover on FM 1053, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety. The crash occurred around 6:20 a.m. near mile marker 398.

Authorities reported that Galvan was driving a 2006 Pontiac G6 northeast on FM 1053 at an unsafe speed when he failed to navigate a curve. The vehicle left the roadway and rolled over, causing Galvan to be ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

DPS officials noted that Galvan was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash. The incident is currently under investigation as authorities continue to review the circumstances surrounding the fatal rollover.
