Fatal Memphis, Tennessee shooting death of Schuyler Jarvell Taylor – Obituary

Law enforcement officials are investigating a deadly shooting that claimed the life of 31-year-old Schuyler Jarvell Taylor early Sunday morning. Officers with the Jackson Police Department responded around 3:30 a.m. to reports of gunfire in the parking area of King Baba’s Restaurant on Old Hickory Boulevard East.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers determined that multiple shots had been discharged. Shortly afterward, police were notified that a man suffering from gunshot injuries had been transported to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, Taylor, a resident of Whiteville, Tennessee, later died from his wounds.

Authorities confirmed Taylor as the victim and stated that the investigation remains active. No additional details about a suspect or the circumstances surrounding the shooting have been released.
