Fatal Pitt County, North Carolina shooting death of Tazavian Jonta Webb – Obituary

Tazavian Jonta Webb, 23, of Farmville, North Carolina, was killed in a shooting that occurred on New Year’s Day, according to the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office. Tazavian Jonta Webb died from a gunshot wound at a residence on N.C. Highway 121 in the Farmville area.

Sheriff’s officials said the shooting stemmed from a domestic-related dispute inside the home. Alcohol was believed to be a contributing factor in the incident.

Another man, Boris Graham, 42, who also lived at the residence, was injured in the shooting and taken to ECU Health Medical Center for treatment. Authorities later confirmed that Graham has since been released from the hospital.

A third individual, identified as 19-year-old Jaboris Tymier Graham, was involved in the dispute prior to the shooting but was not hurt. Investigators noted that the three men are related, though further details about their relationship were not disclosed.

No arrests have been made, and the sheriff’s office stated there is no ongoing threat to the public. The investigation remains active, and once completed, the findings will be forwarded to the district attorney’s office for review to determine whether charges will be filed.
