Allyson Torres dies in fatal El Paso car crash

Fatal El Paso car crash death of Allyson Torres – Obituary

Allyson Torres, a 14-year-old from Northeast El Paso, died after jumping from a moving vehicle on Dec. 28, 2025. Authorities confirmed that she sustained severe injuries from the fall and later died in the hospital on Jan. 3, 2025.

Police were called to the 5700 block of Wren for a welfare check, where they found Torres with a significant laceration on the back of her head. The Special Traffic Investigations unit determined that she had jumped from a 2011 Dodge Journey.

Torres was rushed to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries but was unable to survive. This incident marks the 62nd traffic-related death in El Paso for 2025, slightly lower than the 68 fatalities recorded at the same point in 2024. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
