Nashville, Tennessee Man Antonio Finklea Arrested in Nashville for Fatal Shooting

NASHVILLE, TN — Antonio Finklea, a 43-year-old man, was arrested in Nashville in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred outside a local grocery store earlier this month.

According to police, officers responded to a reported shooting at approximately 2:11 p.m. on Jan. 2, 2026, at S&G Grocery located at 1729 Katye Street. Upon arrival, officers found a man later identified as Tyron Walker, 46, deceased from a gunshot wound outside the business.

Authorities say their investigation revealed that Finklea walked out of the store, shot Walker, and then fled the area on foot. Finklea was later located, arrested, and transported to Metro Jail. He is currently facing charges related to the fatal shooting.
