Werner Sanchez-Gomez, 48, was killed Sunday night after being struck by a vehicle in Palm Beach County, authorities confirmed. The incident occurred around 9:15 p.m. on Haverhill Road near Vilma Lane, where the driver of a northbound vehicle saw Sanchez-Gomez crossing the street but was unable to avoid the collision.
Sanchez-Gomez was pronounced dead at the scene. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
