Brett Davis dies in fatal Nashville I-65 pedestrian crash

Fatal Nashville I-65 pedestrian crash death of Brett Davis – Obituary

Brett Davis, 44, was struck and killed on Interstate 65 North in Nashville early Sunday morning. Authorities reported that the incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. near Rosa Parks Boulevard.

Police said Davis was sitting in the middle of the interstate wearing dark clothing when he was hit by a northbound Hyundai Sonata. The driver of the vehicle stopped immediately and remained at the scene.

Investigators continue to review the circumstances surrounding the crash as the preliminary investigation points to Davis being in the roadway at the time of the collision.
