DICKSON, Okla. — Two high school students, Greg Lowry and Malachi Dixon, were killed Saturday afternoon when their vehicle crashed into a tree and caught fire on Mary Niblack near 3rd Avenue. Ardmore police and firefighters responded to the scene, extinguished the flames, and discovered the two teens deceased.

Authorities reported that the vehicle was traveling north before leaving the roadway and striking the tree. Investigators are considering excessive speed as a possible factor, though it has not been confirmed. Dickson Schools held a remembrance for the students, with additional counselors and therapy dogs available to support students returning from winter break.
