Fatal Olathe, Kan. car crash deaths of Hayden C. Doherty and Addison Askew – Obituary

OLATHE, Kan. — Two teenagers, Hayden C. Doherty, 16, of Overland Park, and Addison Askew, 17, of Olathe, were killed Saturday night when their vehicle struck a tree and caught fire near Northgate Street and East Harold Street. The crash occurred just before 10:40 p.m., authorities said.

Firefighters extinguished the flames and discovered the two teens deceased inside the car. Doherty was driving at the time of the accident. Olathe Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to contact the department or the TIPS Hotline.
