Jason Christopher Bond dies in fatal Cleveland shooting

Fatal Cleveland shooting death of Jason Christopher Bond – Obituary

Cleveland police are investigating after 22-year-old Jason Christopher Bond was shot Sunday evening. Authorities say the incident occurred near Riverside Avenue and Pearl Road on the city’s west side around 7:45 p.m.

Bond was in his vehicle when he was shot, but managed to exit and start walking toward MetroHealth Medical Center, about half a mile away. Emergency responders met him along the way and transported him the rest of the distance to the hospital.

Despite medical efforts, Bond succumbed to his injuries later that day at MetroHealth, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office. Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation.
