Fatal Downtown Portland shooting death of John C. Frazier – Obituary

John C. Frazier was identified by Portland police as the man who lost his life during a late-night shooting in downtown Portland in December 2025. Authorities said the 25-year-old was killed just before midnight on December 28.

Officers were dispatched to reports of gunfire in the 200 block of Southwest Ankeny Street. When police arrived, they found Frazier deceased at the scene. Another individual had also been shot and was transported to a hospital with serious injuries.
