Fatal Chicago, Illinois shooting death of Marvin Cook – Obituary
Marvin Cook, 78, was shot and killed inside his Southwest Side home Tuesday evening. Authorities discovered Cook with a gunshot wound to the chest at a residence in the 4500 block of South Lamon Avenue.
The Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the victim’s identity, and Chicago police are reviewing surveillance footage as part of their ongoing investigation.
Area One detectives are handling the case, and no arrests have been made at this time.
