PORTLAND, Ore. — Mike Sloan, an experienced cyclist and longtime member of the Portland Bicycling Club, died Monday night after losing control of his bicycle at the intersection of Southeast Division Street and Southeast 52nd Avenue. The crash occurred around 8:30 p.m., according to Portland Police.
