Pablo Hernandez Jr., 31, of San Diego, was fatally shot late last month outside a tavern in Chula Vista. The incident occurred shortly after 1:30 a.m. on December 28, 2025, in the 600 block of E Street, where officers found Hernandez suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to a trauma center but succumbed to his injuries four days later.
