Paul Greenwood, 33, of Nichols, was killed in a road rage shooting on Highway 90 near Star Bluff Road in the Longs area of Horry County. The incident occurred around 7:45 a.m. after a traffic crash escalated into an argument that ended with Greenwood being shot.

Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard confirmed that Greenwood’s death is being treated as a homicide. Authorities report that one person has been taken into custody in connection with the shooting.
