Fatal Monroe County, Pa. car crash death of Adam Lander and Nathaniel Durell – Obituary
State authorities have confirmed the identities of two men who lost their lives in a deadly traffic accident earlier this week in Monroe County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, the crash occurred Monday morning along Interstate 80 in Tunkhannock Township. A truck traveling eastbound reportedly veered off the roadway for reasons that remain under investigation. The vehicle descended an embankment before crashing into a tree.
The Monroe County Coroner’s Office identified the victims as 25-year-old Adam Lander of Cranberry and 32-year-old Nathaniel Durell of Franklin. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
Officials have not yet released additional details about what caused the truck to leave the highway. The incident remains under investigation by state police.
