Jeniffer Abrego dies in fatal Von Ormy crash

Fatal Von Ormy crash death of Jeniffer Abrego – Obituary

Jeniffer Abrego, 45, was killed in a motorcycle crash on an I-35 access road in Von Ormy, Texas, earlier this week, the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed.

The accident occurred around 7 p.m. Tuesday in the 14400 block of southbound Interstate 35. Abrego and a young girl were riding the motorcycle when it collided with an 18-wheeler. Deputies arriving at the scene found Abrego unresponsive, and despite efforts by emergency personnel, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The girl suffered a severe open fracture to her right arm. First responders applied a tourniquet before she was transported to a hospital, where officials report her condition has since improved.

The 18-wheeler driver was unharmed, and authorities determined there were no criminal factors involved in the crash.
