Johnie Lee Davis, 70, was killed after being struck by a vehicle and left in the street in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m. Monday on the 400 block of West Sunrise Boulevard, where officers discovered Davis deceased at the scene. Authorities later identified the driver as 25-year-old Travaris Lamain McCoy. On Thursday, McCoy was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death.
