Daniel Ezra Cannon of Sacramento, California dies after being found in Arcade Creek

Fatal Arcade Creek death of Daniel Ezra Cannon of Sacramento, California – Obituary

The Sacramento County Coroner has confirmed the identity of Daniel Ezra Cannon, 50, who was found deceased in Arcade Creek on Thursday afternoon.

Sacramento Fire Department officials said they received a water rescue call just before 1:30 p.m. for an incident in the 3200 block of Marysville Boulevard. Upon arrival, rescue crews discovered a body floating in the creek. Firefighters worked to recover Cannon’s body from the water.

According to Capt. Justin Slyvia of the Sacramento Fire Department, Cannon had been missing for two days and was located by a parole agent after his whereabouts were traced through an ankle monitor.

While the cause of death remains undetermined, the incident continues to be under investigation.
