Fatal Town of Rutland, Wisconsin car crash death of Paul N. Hardenstine – Obituary

Paul N. Hardenstine, a 55-year-old man from Beloit, Wisconsin, was identified as the victim of a deadly single-vehicle crash that occurred last Tuesday in the Town of Rutland, according to the Dane County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were dispatched to the area near U.S. Highway 14 and Oak Hill Road at approximately 10:12 a.m., where they discovered a Ford F-150 that had struck a tree. Investigators determined that Hardenstine had been traveling southbound when he lost control of the truck for reasons still under review.

Emergency responders transported Hardenstine to a nearby hospital following the crash. Despite medical treatment, he later succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities stated that the official cause and manner of death were still pending as of Tuesday morning, with additional examinations and testing ongoing. The Dane County Sheriff’s Office is working alongside the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the factors that led to the fatal crash.
