Ramarionna Devers, 19, was killed Friday night in North Omaha after being struck by a vehicle near 65th Street and Ames Avenue. Police say the crash followed a domestic dispute between Devers and the driver.

Authorities arrested 21-year-old Nikia Evans, who faces charges including second-degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and failure to stop and render aid. Witnesses reported that Evans accelerated toward Devers, drove over a curb, and struck her in the yard before fleeing the scene. Evans was later located at a nearby golf course and admitted to driving the car. The investigation is ongoing.
