A tragic collision on January 12, 2026, claimed the life of 34-year-old Trent Booker II, a resident of Mobile. The accident occurred around 9 a.m. on Grand Bay Wilmer Road, about nine miles west of the Mobile city limits.
Booker was driving a 2016 Kia Forte when he collided with a 2024 Volvo tractor-trailer. State troopers from the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported that Booker sustained fatal injuries from the crash.
