Fatal Llano car crash death of E. Tsatinyan – Obituary

E. Tsatinyan was killed Wednesday in a three-vehicle collision on Pearblossom Highway west of 195th Street East in Llano, California. CHP officials reported that she was a passenger in a 2026 Range Rover and was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

Authorities said a westbound 2012 Chevrolet crossed the center line and collided with an eastbound 2015 Peterbilt hauling two loaded bottom-dump trailers. The Peterbilt driver was unable to avoid the vehicles, causing the truck and trailers to strike the Range Rover. Tsatinyan suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.

Three other individuals were injured and transported to a hospital, including a woman and a girl from the Chevrolet who were airlifted. The crash caused Pearblossom Highway to be closed for several hours while emergency crews responded and conducted investigations.

The California Highway Patrol continues to investigate the collision and is urging anyone with information to contact Officer M. Beverly at the Antelope Valley Area office or the Los Angeles Traffic Management Center after hours. Officials emphasized the importance of seat belt use, noting that proper restraints greatly reduce the risk of severe injuries and fatalities in traffic accidents.
