Fatal Staten Island pedestrian crash death of Jean Victorin – Obituary
Jean Victorin, a 66-year-old man from West Brighton, tragically passed away from injuries sustained in a pedestrian accident earlier this month in Mariners Harbor.
The incident occurred on Sunday, January 4, when Victorin was struck by a 2014 Audi Q5 while crossing South Avenue near Forest Avenue.
The 22-year-old driver of the Audi was traveling southbound when he hit Victorin, who was crossing the street in the middle of the block.
Victorin initially sustained a non-life-threatening head injury and was transported to Richmond University Medical Center in stable condition.
However, on January 11, Victorin’s condition worsened, and he succumbed to his injuries. The driver remained at the scene and was not injured. No arrests have been made, and the investigation into the crash is ongoing.
