Fatal Bedford-Stuyvesant domestic stabbing death of Julia Boomer – Obituary
Julia Boomer, 85, was fatally stabbed at her home on Throop Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, in an incident authorities are investigating as domestic violence. The attack occurred just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday and was witnessed by her daughter, who immediately called 911.
Boomer suffered multiple stab wounds to her face, neck, and torso. She was transported to a hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival. Police reported that her 22-year-old grandson, who left the scene after the attack and later returned, was taken to the hospital for evaluation. No charges have been filed at this time.
