Mason Boulais dies in fatal San Marcos motorcycle crash

Fatal San Marcos motorcycle crash death of Mason Boulais – Obituary

Mason Boulais, 23, of Escondido, was killed Tuesday in a motorcycle collision in San Marcos, California. The crash occurred near the intersection of Interstate 15 and State Route 78 on the 2300 block of Montiel Road.

Officials reported that Boulais was riding a Kawasaki ZX-10R when it collided with a white Nissan Altima. Emergency responders found him unresponsive in the westbound lane and attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at 5:52 p.m. The driver of the Nissan remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office has not released whether alcohol or drugs were involved in the crash. Investigators are asking anyone with information or who witnessed the incident to contact the San Marcos Sheriff’s Station.
