Fatal Richfield, California head-on crash death of Cassandra Ann Green Moreno – Obituary

Cassandra Ann Green Moreno was killed Wednesday, Jan. 14, in a devastating head-on collision in Richfield, near Corning, authorities confirmed. The crash occurred when a gray Toyota Tacoma, traveling southbound on Highway 99W, crossed double-yellow lines and collided directly with a Tehama County transit bus.

The accident claimed six lives and left one person critically injured. Moreno was among those who died, leaving family and friends mourning her loss. In response, her sister-in-law, Natalie Figueroa, has launched a GoFundMe campaign to support Moreno’s family during this difficult time and assist them with related expenses.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances that led to the deadly crash.
