Fatal Augusta, Georgia shooting death of Jawaun Scruggs – Obituary
Jawaun Scruggs, 38, of Augusta, Georgia, was killed Thursday evening in a shooting on the 600 block of East Boundary Street, authorities confirmed. Richmond County deputies reported that Scruggs was shot at least once and was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:37 p.m.
Authorities are seeking 34-year-old Joshua Anderson for questioning in connection with the incident. Deputies noted that Anderson is known to frequent the East Boundary Street area. Scruggs’s autopsy has been scheduled as part of the ongoing investigation.
