Fatal Cleveland, Ohio shooting death of Johnathan Payne – Obituary
Johnathan Payne, 20, of Cleveland, Ohio, was killed early Thursday morning after being found with a gunshot wound near a highway exit ramp, authorities confirmed. Cleveland EMS discovered Payne around 2:30 a.m. near W. 25th Street and View Road and immediately contacted police while providing first aid.
Payne was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The Cleveland Police Homicide Unit is leading the investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
