Fatal Nashville, Tennessee crash death of Markeith Miller – Obituary

Markeith Miller, 42, was killed on January 16, 2026, when the 2005 Lincoln Grand Marquis he was riding in was struck on the passenger side by a 2019 Honda Accord at the intersection of Old Hickory Boulevard and Zermatt Avenue in Nashville. The impact caused the Grand Marquis to overturn, fatally injuring Miller.

The vehicle’s driver, 38-year-old Katera Johnson, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Eddie McGee, 25, the driver of the Honda, was also treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities continue to investigate the crash to determine if speed or impairment played a role in the deadly collision.
