Fatal Hamilton Township, New Jersey pedestrian crash death of Michael Alvarez – Obituary

Michael Alvarez, 44, of Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, was killed Thursday evening after being struck by two vehicles while crossing Route 40 at Cantillon Boulevard in Hamilton Township, Atlantic County. The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m.

Police reported that Alvarez was first hit by a westbound 2019 Chevrolet Equinox and then struck again moments later by another vehicle traveling eastbound. He died from his injuries at the scene.

Both drivers remained on site, and no additional injuries were reported. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the fatal collision.
