Jeremy Rosales, 14, of Victorville, was killed Friday night in a shooting near Mojave Vista Park. The incident occurred around 8:21 p.m. on January 16, 2026, near the intersection of Glen Canyon Lane and Burwood Avenue, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Deputies responding to multiple 911 calls found Rosales suffering from gunshot wounds in the street. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Sheriff’s Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail is leading the investigation. Roadways near Mojave Vista Elementary School and Mojave Vista Park were closed Friday night as authorities secured the scene. The suspect or suspects remain unidentified, and the investigation is ongoing.
