Kornell Deshon Bennett, 38, lost his life following a head-on collision on Friday evening in San Antonio. Authorities reported that the crash occurred just after 8 p.m. in the 6400 block of Walzem Road near Windsor Oaks.

The collision involved a white 2015 Hyundai Elantra and a red 2014 Toyota Camry traveling in opposite directions. Bennett, who was driving the Hyundai, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators have ruled his death an accident.

The driver and passenger of the Toyota Camry sustained serious injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. Police and emergency personnel continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
