Patrizia Botti, a 75-year-old visitor from Balano, Italy, lost her life following a serious traffic collision near Winton last week. Authorities confirmed that Botti was killed at the scene after a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 6, also known as Great North Road.

Police said the collision was reported shortly after 3pm on Thursday, prompting emergency crews to respond to the area. While Botti did not survive the impact, three other individuals involved in the crash sustained injuries. One person was treated for moderate injuries, while two others suffered minor harm.

Investigators are continuing to examine the events that led up to the crash, with police stating on Tuesday that inquiries into the cause remain ongoing.
